Ashli
was born in Peoria,Il. grew up surrounded by music. Her
father is a jazz guitarist and her mother, a singer. Ashli
blended right in, displaying an affinity for entertaining
and a musical talent far beyond her age-- Family leisure
time was mainly spent making music.
Her extensive range(5 Octaves) combined with that old
soul vocal delivery only adds to the amazing colorful
layers of her sound. "She loves Gladys Knight and
Nina Simone how could that not be hot!",says Kirv
who signed Ashli on the spot!!! Her debut CD entitled
"Desire" on KIRV Records has a magical old school
sound with live bass,guitars,pianos, string and horn sections
on top of hard hip hop/r&b beats all while she confesses
her "DESIRE" in 2007!!! |
